Brrrrr…it IS cold outside!!! Which makes it the perfect time for, what else? Beading! Need new inspiration for the New Year? We’ve got it!
Our new winter workshop catalog features 11 brand new classes, and many returning ones we have pulled out of the vault and updated for a new season!
Some of my new favorites are: Vintage Layers by Melissa, such a gorgeous way to use the Lucite beads; and Relics, Charms & Chain, which was inspired by a similar piece from Nordstrom’s holiday catalog, now create whatever expression you want! Another favorite would be Caged Crystals & Chains, inspired by a fantastic vintage necklace I bought on a buying trip to New York, it’s so simple but so cool.
Our new winter class line-up also introduces a much-requested Flat Kumihimo with Leilani. We’ve done our version of a beaded Bib that is very popular right now, in our Waterfall Bib, that is super fun and sexy. Definitely check out our new Mix & Twist, mixed metal bracelet with Laura.
We also have many returning classes including: Torgerson Bracelet, Bangle Trio, Rings with Bling, and a great updated Wire Framing earring class with Carrie, just to name a few.
Beyond great classes for our first quarter of 2010, we have lots of events you’ll want to check out. Starting in January, we will do a nice clearance sale to clear out any overstock after the holidays. Then towards the end of the month, we’re trying to something new by having our vendors send us their “clearance items” from 2009.
February brings lots of heart-shaped beads for Valentine’s day, plus great gift ideas. February also means our annual Freshwater Pearl Sale with all pearl strands 50% off!! This is one of our biggest events of the year and you won’t want to miss it!
In March we will have our kick-off party for next summer’s Puget Sound Bead Festival classes! You’ll be able to see all the great samples and meet the instructors before hand so you can choose the best classes for you. It’s hard to believe it’s time to think about events for next summer when it’s so cold outside!
For now though, come on in here so you can be warm and let us pamper you. After all you do for others, come in, relax & get inspired, while we help you put together something perfect for Valentine’s, or a birthday, or just because!
At the start of a new year, I am especially grateful for all our wonderful customers. We take customer service very seriously; without you there is no Bead Factory. I also know we are only as good as your last visit, last class, or last phone call. So as we plan our next year, we look forward to being able to serve you better than ever. We had over 200 entries for our first calendar, and we have selected the 48 gorgeous pieces that will be featured in our calendar, plus 6 more for the cover artwork. Each month will feature four pictures of our customer’s work and each winner will not only receive an acknowledged place in the calendar, but will also get the copy of that professional picture for your portfolio!

If you're a Bead Club Member that hasn't been receiving your weekly email newsletter from us, you may be missing out! In addition to last-minute specials and sale notification, we always remind you of the pre-planned events from your last workshop brochure or newsletter, just in case it slipped your mind. We were so proud and honored to be the only Tacoma business as a finalist for the BBB Business of the Year awards, but to win in the customer service category is so exciting for us!
